Accor Net Grows 54 Percent in 1st Half (AP via Yahoo! Finance) French hotel group Accor said Wednesday that its first-half profit rose 54 percent on strong results in Europe. Net income for the period rose to 241 million euros , compared with 156 million euros in the first half of last after adjustment for the sale of its Carlson Wagonlit Travel unit.
